Hey its been awhile since ive been on this site. I decided to join the salt water world. Working on putting up a 75 gal one. Here is some of the pics of what ive got already.

the new tank. in the basement till the stand is made. Making that myself. Started that today. Picks in awhile for that.

got the back painted black

115#s of dry rock from bulk reef supply. Gonna order 12#s of live rock when the stand is done.

RO/DI unit. Have a 32 gal holding bucket. Pry gonna get another one or two.

reef octopus bh90. not running cause im not cycling the tank yet.

Had 2 600 gph powerheads but decided i wanted bigger. got a 1200gph and 1600gph.
I also have a refractometer and test kit. and of course salt.
Plan on ordering AI hydra led's and live sand when the time comes.

Awesome. I like the scape. Did you glue or dowel the rocks? Are you going to be using sand?

Makes me a little nervous. I'd at least consider glue or dowels. If not all of them maybe just some of the larger ones at the base. There are a lot of critters that will move around rocks if they can. Hermit crabs in particular. I used to have one that would flip my zoa frags all the time. Probably not strong enough to move a larger rock, but still... it's a solid insurace plan.

Keep the pics coming man, makes me jealous but I do like seeing these setups come to life!

There isn't any small rocks that are easily moveable. And the tank is cycling right now.

I got this stock list from the book (The New Marine Aquarium) Gonna keep it simple and not try and mix fish myself. So Im using the stock list from the book.

1 or 2 Yellowtail Blue Tangs
5 Blue Green Chromis ( adding them 1st)
1 Coral Beauty Angelfish
1 Longnose Hawkfish
3 Banggai Cardinal fish

If anybody know of a good site to get stock lists please let me know. Thanks.
