I recently got 2 oscars. I got them all set up in a 35 gallon tank for now. They are about 2-2.5" big I have a black and a white one.

My white one is doing fine but my black one had a bubble on his eye it's see through it gets better and worse it's starting to have me worried as its the biggest it's been since I've had the fish for about 2 weeks now

I have a photo but not quite sure how to upload photos yet to here

Did this happen in your tank and for how long is this going on?
The problem is you will not be able to treat this propper in youre right now tank size.

This is moSt likley a infection caused by a mechanical
injury like from a biting with the it oscar or by bumping into something.

I would treat this in an separate hospital tank. This needs a propper treatment against a possible inflamation that can cause death.
We need to stop talking about the people as if they were the crown of creation.

You're going to want to treat this so it won't get infected. It looks like an injury but has the chance of getting infected. treat with kanaplex from seachem or furan2. furan2 will destroy any good bacteria in the filter. it's better to treat the oscar in a separate tank so you don't destroy the nitrogen cycle by accident.

I only have the 1 tank that the oscars are in now I don't mind getting another tank to treat the little guy in but should I get anything for the tank I have a spare filter I can run in it for water circulation and a air pump for oxygenation. But should I do anything else like light, gravel, plants or structures???

Also with the little guy only being about 2-2.5 inches would a 10 gallon tank b ok jus for treatment? Or what size should I get ?

Thanks for all the help

some gravel is okay and a ten gallon is fine. The spare filter is good and a heater, that's all you really need,.
