I have a large piece of wood in my 10g aquarium, it takes up at least 2/3 of the aquarium. Since it is the type of wood with all the "roots" everywhere, it makes it extremely difficult to do a good cleaning of the aquarium. I can barely even get my syphon in there. My question basically is concerning the anubius nana that is attached to the wood, during each water change the anubius is exposed to the air. Will this kill my anubius? I was thinking of completely removing the wood when I do a water change to clean it better but I'm just worried about the anubius.
