i searched under quarantine and came up empty.
Saw some other suggestions on other sites, but I was sure I saw a previous thread on quarantine preventative meds.
I've had some new fish in a 10 g for three weeks, and was going to dose this week with some prazipro or other meds just to make sure.

Some suggest a few weeks with just clean water is enough to see any issues, but I thought KMuda or someone else doses a week before as well

I would dose with paraguard if looking to be on the safe side,
The name Oscar is a Norse baby name. In Norse the meaning of the name Oscar is: Divine spear.

API General cure has both praziquantel and metronidazole.
It is well suited to what you're doing.

Yes, I proactively treat for worms on most new fish. A lot depends on what type of fish. All wild caught fish will get the full round of proactive treatment. PraziPro is what I use for worms. It's used during the first week of treatment and the last week of treatment (with a three week minimum quarantine.)
