We made 3 tank stands from 2x4's then finished with old fend boards a neighbor was getting rid of. Curtains were all made from one 6x9 painter's drop clots. We spent less than $60 to build all 3. They are for 75g, 55g, and a 20g. I love them and think they turned out pretty awesome! But I'm admittedly a bit biased. :P

I fixed the links for you, in case you were wondering what was going on. :roflmao:

Excellent work. Nice and sturdy, as it should be. Love the rustic look with the wood.

Thanks! I really like them alot. The stands available locally look so cheap - made from particle board and carry a hefty price tag that just doesn't seem in line with the quality. YouTube and power tools to the rescue!

Yes, I was wondering what was going on. I thought I'd figured it out. But that may've been you. Thanks for that too!

thanks, guys! I'm very fortunate to have a husband who helps facilitate my crazy ideas. But in my defense me being cheap and a diy-er does save him a lot of money! Well, that's my story and I'm just gonna go with it!

Hey daezygirl, out of curiosity, what sponsored the "double-bottom/double-top" design element? If that question makes sense. Both stands would appear to have two bottoms and two tops, one of top of the other.
